Undecided

Rose Byrne in Elie Saab Couture
Somehow I love the jumpsuit, but I don't think this look is appropriate for red carpet. What do you think?

Zoe Zaldana in Givenchy Couture
I love the dress but I hate to see the 'tank top' part peeking out.

I think my top 5 favorites are Natalie Portman, Angelina Jolie, Diana Agron, Stacy Keibler, and Michelle Williams. But Sofia Vergara and Amber Heard also look stunning right?

FOTD + Review of Clarins UV Plus HP SPF 40 Day Screen High Protection and Clarins Joli Rouge

Hi all Vixens out there, I won Clarins Twitter contest and they sent me this two products. For more giveaways please follow @ClarinsID on Twitter. After more than a week playing with these two things, here I give you my thought about these products.

Clarins Joli Rouge in 731 Rose Berry

No flash

With flash

I think this is a very nice underrated lipstick. I never hear someone talking about this product before. Such ironies because for me, this is literally the most comfortable lipstick I ever try. Even better than MAC lipstick. Very creamy, very moisturizing, no waxy feeling, long lasting, amazing pigmentation, and nice heavy packaging. The color I have is ‘Rose Berry’, it looks very dark in the tube, but one or two swipes on the lips give me a natural mauve color. Very lovely! Overall I really want to try another Joli Rouge and I recommend this lipstick to everyone.

Clarins UV Plus HP SPF 40 Day Screen High Protection

This sunscreen is very lightweight. The consistency is like water, very ‘liquid’ and thin in texture. When I apply it on my face it goes on smoothly and slightly sticky, but do not worry because it absorbs quick and dries matte. The downside for me is the scent. I just don’t like the scent, it is not a super strong scent but It just not a good scent for me, I believe everyone is going to have a different opinion about the smell but I just don’t like it. If you don’t mind a little bit scent in your sunscreen then I say go for this product.

Face of the Day

Face:
Clarins UV Plus HP SPF 40 Day Screen High Protection
Revlon Colorstay Makeup with Softlex SPF 6 for combination/oily skin in 180 Nude
MAC Studio Finish Concealer SPF 35 in NC15
MAC Blot Powder in Medium
Revlon Powder Blush in Soft Spoken Pink

Eye:
Morrise eye lashes
Maybelline the Magnum Volume Express Waterproof in Black

Lip:
EOS lip balm in Summer Fruit
Clarins Joli Rouge in 731 Rose Berry (one swipe then dab it to the entire lip)

So have you tried these two products? What do you think about it? Is there any color from Joli Rouge collection that you recommend to me? Please tell me on the comment section below.

The Best and Worst Dressed at the Golden Globe Awards 2012

The Best

Charlize Theron in Christian Dior Couture
Charlize is the kind of actress that gives you drama on the red carpet. That’s what I love about her. She is unpredictable, constantly trying something new and always pushes the limit. This girly dress doesn’t fail to impress everyone. Plus, who doesn’t fall in love with her hair do? Simply stunning.

Emma Stone in Lanvin
I love her dark, sultry, and dramatic Grecian inspired Lanvin dress. The bird embellishment on the belt gives a nice addition to her look. Femme fatale on the red carpet.

Nicole Kidman in Versace
Hey I remember that dress! At the runaway, it was worn by Lindsey Wixson, she stumbled and fell on the catwalk! That is why I remember this dress. But anyway this dress is gorgeous! It’s like an art, a masterpiece really. Nicole looks amazing in it.

Paula Patton in Monique Lhuillier
I’m glad she’s wearing such a bright color. It just looks really pretty with her skintone. The fit is right, the shape is perfect. Two thumbs up!

Reese Witherspoon in Zac Posen
Elegant, classy, and timeless. I love her hair but I have a feeling that the dress would look better with a feminine chignon and a statement necklace.

Rooney Mara in Nina Ricci
Usually I don’t really like her look on red carpet, but this time Rooney looks great! Simplistic but fantastic. Dark gothic look done beautifully.

Salma Hayek in Gucci
She brings a glam on a red carpet, I love the gold detailing on the bodice, the sequins on the bottom part looks nice too. Sounds like a weird combinations, but it works!

Sarah Hyland in vintage Dolce & Gabbana
The funny thing is, on the red carpet the zipper broke and  she had to be literally sewn into it. Right when all the cameras can shoot, but Sarah is a cool girl, she looks beautiful in this dress right? I love the combination of a cream colored and black lace. Lovely.

Shailene Woodley in Marchesa
Shailene looks ethereal and fairy like in this dress. The delicate details, the muted color, the perfect fit just look chic and feminine.

Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang
Again Sofia looks va va voom in this dress. It fits her like a glove, showing her amazing curves and a unique details on the bottom part make this dress stand out from the crowd.

Stacy Keibler in Valentino
Valentino red dress is the right choice for  every red carpet event. This one particular dress in no exception. Simple yet stand out at the same way. The front looks demure, but when she shows her back, bam! Beautifully placed bow. Well done Stacy!

Emily Deschanel in custom-made BCBG Max Azria
Beautiful garment by BCBG Maz Azria, looks fun and classy at the same time. I love how the sleeves are asymmetrical, the color is just beautiful, the draperies are perfectly place, and look at those earrings! fantastic. Overall I love the look!

Jessica Alba in Gucci
Magnificent dress by Gucci worn by Jessica Alba. Is that sequins? Rhinestones? I can’t see it clearly but I love the sparkles! she looks absolutely breathtaking in this dress. The blush color complements her skin tone, the trail is understated yet has an amazing impact on the dress. Great choice Jessica!

Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace
Angie looks amazing! I love how finally she do something with her long hair, a simple bun really works with this one shoulder Atelier Versace dress. Red detailing on the dress matches her lipstick and clutch. Simply stunning!

Claire Dannes in J.Mendel
Chic and classy with this J.Mendel dress. Claire knows what works for her. The color, the cut, and the shape of her dress are just timeless and elegant.

Diane Lane in Reem Acra
Diane looks fantastic in this dress! What is red carpet without sparkly dresses right? This dress makes a statement without being ridiculous and over the top. Simply adore it!

Evan Rachel Wood in Gucci Premier
Such a dramatic dress speaks for itself. So she doesn’t wear too much jewelry with that. This dark green Gucci number looks fabulous with all the sequins and feather.

Kate Beckinsale in Roberto Cavalli
Another simple look done right, she looks stunning with this nude color Cavalli dress. Showing off her curves perfectly, pretty and feminine.

Kate Winslet in Jenny Packam
I have a feeling that Catherine Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge would pick this dress for herself. Lovely combination of black  and white. The peek a boo on the front is sexy without being too much, all the jewelries complete this look.

Mila Kunis in Christian Dior
Since she is now the new face of Dior, I have a feeling that Mila would wear Dior on Golden Globe, I am right! Dior suits her fine, it looks wonderful on her! Elegant and sultry. This black dress gives an air of mystery to her.

Nicole Richie in Julien Macdonald
In my opinion Nicole was the epitome of old Hollywood glamour at that night. This silver column dress look amazing on her. Festive!

Heidi Klum in Calvin Klein
I love this simple peachy nude dress on her. The turquoise statement necklace steals the spotlight. I just wish Heidi did something different with the hair.

Undecided

Jessica Biel in Elie Saab Couture
Don’t get me wrong, I always love Elie Saab, this dress is a beautiful creation but I have a feeling that this is not the right dress for her. It just looks ok. I don’t know why, I think this look is lacking something.

Diana Agron in Giles Deacon
I love how Diana Agron finally wears something dramatic and risqué. I love the top part, but I think the bottom part is just too much…all the ruffles just look over the top

Michelle Williams in Jason Wu
I love the shape, the headband is adorable, but I hate the fabric. It makes her look frumpy.

Natalie Portman in Lanvin
I love the idea of simple dresses but this one is just ok. The color looks gorgeous but I don’t really get that puffy part of fabric stick out from her hips. I think this dress would be better without it.

Tina Fey in Oscar De La Renta
I love the dress. I love Tina Fey. But somewhat the combination of the two seems so wrong. I think this is not the right dress for Tina, she looks ‘heavy’ and ‘boxy’. Or maybe Tina just needs to work on her pose? What do you think?

Worst

Naya Rivera in Vera Wang
Uuummm it looks like ugly sleep wear for me, sorry.

Piper Perabo in Oliver Theyskens
The bottom part looks too big, the color didn’t suit her.

Sarah Michelle Gelar in Monique Lhuillier
Too much…this dress might looks amazing on high fashion model, but on petite Sarah, it just looks so heavy…

Zooey Deschanel in Prada
I love Zooey, she’s quirky and adorable. But in my opinion this dress looks weird on her. It reminds me of a green snake!

Freida Pinto in Prada
I think Freida herself is undeniably gorgeous girl but this dress…the fabric looks heavy and frumpy, the cut is not flattering at all.

Giuliana Rancic in Monique Collignon (black) and Basil Soda (nude)
Both are too much, I think the nude dress would be better without so much details on the neck and shoulder.

Meryl Streel
I love the idea of black shirt dress. Choose another material, maybe satin. And make the bottom part figure hugging mermaid shape.

Jessica Chastain in Givenchy
I hate that turtle neck. I would be better if it just a regular low cut u-shape neck, and the hairstyle doesn’t help either. Shame! I really love her on ‘The Help’

Kelly Osbourne in Zac Posen
The fabric and the shoulder pad reminds me of an 80’s prom. Her grayish hair is not helping.

Lea Michele in Marchesa
Too much...somewhat vulgar. I don’t know I just don’t like this dress

Madonna in Reem Acra
For me this is the worst of the worst look at that night. No…just no

So my top 10 favorite looks are (in no particular order):
Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Sofia Vergara, Stacy Keibler, Jessica Alba, Mila Kunis and Kate Beckinsale.

And the dress that I hate the most is Madonna.
